Arts Award

What about taking an Arts Award? The Arts Award is a national qualification which supports young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. Doing an Arts Award will help you to develop your creative skills and your ability to communicate well and lead projects. An Arts Award is useful for getting further education opportunities or jobs - in the arts and other fields.

You can achieve the Award if you are aged 11-25, and take part in the arts at your school, college or youth project, or with an arts organisation or youth arts scheme. Contact us at Daisi or visit www.artsaward.org.uk to find out more.

Would you like to hear about the Arts Award from someone who's completed it? Check out the video below to see Luke Ellis's Arts Award Portfolio from his work as a lighting technician with Devon Youth Theatre in April 2011. The video was created by Arts Award Adviser Elizabeth Pennington.
