Creative arts sessions supporting young people’s mental health in schools

A collaboration between Daisi, schools, young people, and artists is moving into its second phase with workshops in 8 schools across Devon.

ArtEffect is about devising models of creative groups taking place in schools to support young people’s emotional and mental heath.  Daisi has co-devised the project with young people’s settings, and with artists from a range of art forms.

“It’s important even if that confidence is temporary.  At least they’ve experienced what it feels like.”

ArtEffect seeks to explore and articulate how the creative arts workshop supports positive mental health for young people in schools and other education settings.

ArtEffect is supported by Devon County Council.  Follow this link to find out more about Art Effect and how to get involved.
