Children discover and communicate National Trust Killerton’s hidden history through making public art works

Children from seven Devon primary schools have created public works of art including totem poles, pottery, a carriage selfie-board and a giant bear – all inspired by the wildlife and history of the National Trust’s Killerton estate.

Daisi’s professional local artists worked with the children to create the exhibition which will will be on show along a fantastic self guided tour at Killerton House from 19 July 2017 to September 2017. For more information about the project please see Lost Killerton.

“The children had two wonderful days working with the artist. They are really looking forward to taking their families to see their bear in the Bear Hut at Killerton.”  Class teacher, Silverton Primary School
