** Updated September 2020**
At Daisi we know the arts are more vital now than they have ever been. We have created a diverse offer for Autumn 2020 designed to support your pupils to transition back into school life in a positive way, through engagement in high-quality arts activities alongside Daisi professional artists. We have looked at the ways that we can now work safely with schools to continue to provide access to inclusive arts education, support mental health and wellbeing, and to encourage class cohesion at this challenging time of re-adjustment, for a positive take on it all.

Artist for a Day – Blended Offer
An engaging arts workshop: designed with an artist and led by a teacher – with online intervention and support, live from an artist. If it is not currently an option for your school to invite an artist in to deliver an in-person workshop (with COVID-19 safety measures in place), how about a workshop package via a blended format, including remote input from an artist partner that supports and up skills your own in-person teacher delivery. This workshop option offers teachers a chance for personal development in a particular art form or technique, as well as engaging pupils in exciting, diverse arts activities which are accessible for all.
Daisi Bytes Artist Films
NEW and available now, Daisi Bytes are your unique invitation to take your pupils on a rare virtual visit behind the scenes into your local artists’ lives and work. The Daisi Bytes films support children to feel connected to arts and culture through real people, artists and creative professionals in their community.
Artist for a Day – In person workshops in school
Our normal school workshop offer, live in school but with COVID-19 mitigations, policies and measures in place. We have reviewed all government guidance and put relevant policies and checklists in place for working in this new environment, and are ready to work with you to incorporate any school-specific considerations in our new working practices and delivery. These workshops could take place in a larger space (I.e. school hall) or an appropriate outdoor space.
Artist for a Day – Workshops at a local Devon heritage site
Bring a group of your pupils to a local heritage venue, to meet with a professional Daisi Artist and take part in a creative arts workshop. These workshops will be in person but with COVID-19 mitigations, policies and measures in place. An artist workshop at a Heritage venue would likely link in with and support other curriculum areas and topics.
