Daisi Closure FAQs
These FAQs bring together the key information we have at this stage and will be updated if anything changes. There are also a set of FAQs specifically for our Daisi Artists, which can be found here.
Daisi is closing due to funding challenges that make it unsustainable to continue operations. This decision was carefully considered, and all alternatives were explored before concluding that closure was necessary.
Daisi will close on the 25th of March. All scheduled workshops and projects will run until this date, and we will work with schools to ensure a smooth conclusion of any ongoing activities.
- Any confirmed workshops or projects will continue the date of Daisi’s closure.
- If any workshops cannot go ahead due to the closure, we will communicate this promptly and, where possible, provide alternative solutions or contacts.
Unfortunately, no. Daisi won’t be able to deliver or manage any work taking place after the 25th of March. Where we can, we’ll do our best to support schools and artists by sharing alternative contacts.

Without Daisi the logistics of accessing the region’s creative opportunities becomes more challenging. You might consider making use of your local library or arts centre, who may be able to signpost you to alternative provisions. Experienced independent artists across Devon and Torbay continue to deliver bespoke workshops in schools and community settings, you will need to contact them on an individual basis. Certain Daisi artists have given permission for their details to be shared; you can download a list of those here. Please note that Daisi is not able to take any responsibility or liability for work arranged independently.
The following artists have kindly agreed to share their contact details. Please note that they are no longer “Daisi Artists,” and any checks that were previously carried out by Daisi (such as DBS or safeguarding checks) will need to be conducted independently by you.

Yes. We’ll be holding an informal evening gathering at Exeter Phoenix – March 19th. We’ll be in the Workshop Room on the ground floor from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm, with a few thank-yous at 6.30pm. Please register if you would like to join us.
